The STM32MP157x-EV1 evaluation board from STMicroelectronics helps designers explore the STM32MP1 microprocessor series. A general-purpose microprocessor portfolio enabling easy development for a broad range of applications, the STM32MP1 series is based on a heterogeneous single or dual Arm Cortex-A7 and Cortex-M4 core architecture. The kit consists of an MB1262 motherboard, MB1263 daughterboard, MB1230 DSI 720p display, and an MB1379 daughterboard camera.

Three software levels are available: the Starter Package, the Developer Package, and the Distribution Package. Each provides the software (image, source code) and the tools needed to start using the STM32MP157x-EV1 evaluation boards. These require a host PC running the OpenSTLinux SDK, and optionally an IDE.
